Registration

  • In order to take the course you need to register on the marps-africa.org website. To do this, click on “Create an account” from the home page or from the “My account” page.

  • You will need to create a user name. Please be sure to remember your user name for future use. The user account is required to track your progress in the online courses.

  • Please be sure to enter your correct email address. After registering, the website will send you an email with your password information. If you do not receive the email, check your "spam" or "junk" folder to see if it has been filtered. If you are using an anti-spam filter that requires others to register their email address, please add website@marps-africa.org before registering to receive emails from the MARPs Africa website.

  • When registering, you will be required to enter some demographic information, which will be collected anonymously for course evaluation purposes. You may optionally enter your first and last names, these will be printed on the certificates upon completion of modules and courses.

Course Information

  • Before you start: Pre-course questionnaire and assessment are mandatory. The pre-course assessment will not be scored.

  • Modules can be taken multiple times and in any order.

  • Each module has its own assessment. A score of 70% or greater is required to pass each assessment (except the pre- and post-course assessements). All assessments except the pre- and post-course assessments can be taken up to three times.

  • Each module has its own certificate of completion that can be downloaded upon completion of the module.

  • There is one overall certificate at the completion of all course modules which can be downloaded after all modules have been taken.

  • Post-course assessment and evaluation are mandatory in order to be awarded a full course certificate of completion. This course certificate will replace all previously awarded module certificates.

  • The post-course assessment can be taken once. A passing score is not required, however it must be taken to receive the final course certificate.
